Cookie Policy
We use a very small number of cookies. This page lists every one of them, what it does and how to turn optional ones off.
Last updated: 2026-08-03.
This Cookie Policy explains how Bayou & Bell Media Group uses cookies and similar technologies on media.pacific-reps.com. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device by a website. Similar technologies include local storage, which stores a small value in your browser, and pixels or tags, which are tiny files used to record that a page was loaded. All of these are referred to as “cookies” in this policy.
2. Our approach
We keep this website deliberately light. It loads no third-party trackers by default, no social media widgets, no chat scripts, no advertising pixels and no fingerprinting technology. Optional cookies are set only after you choose “Accept all” in the banner shown on your first visit. If you decline, no optional cookie is written and everything on the site continues to work exactly as before.
3. Cookies we use
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| bb_cookie_consent_v1 | Strictly necessary (local storage) | Records whether you accepted or declined optional cookies so the banner is not shown again | Until cleared, up to 12 months |
| Server access log | Strictly necessary (not a cookie) | Standard hosting log used for security and troubleshooting | Up to 90 days |
| Analytics measurement | Optional — analytics | Aggregated page-view measurement, loaded only after consent, used to understand which pages are useful | Up to 13 months |
| Advertising conversion tag | Optional — marketing | Where we run advertising for our own firm, records that a visit followed one of our advertisements. Loaded only after consent | Up to 13 months |
4. Categories explained
Strictly necessary
Required for the website to function and to remember your privacy choice. These cannot be switched off through the banner because the site cannot operate without them, and they do not identify you personally.
Analytics
Help us count visits and understand which pages people read. Data is aggregated; we do not use analytics to identify individual visitors or to build profiles.
Marketing
Used only in connection with advertising for our own firm, to measure whether an advertisement led to a visit. Set by advertising platforms such as Microsoft Advertising or Google Ads, which act as independent controllers of the data those tags collect.
5. Managing your choice
You can change your decision at any time by selecting Cookie preferences in the footer of any page, which clears the stored record and shows the banner again. You can also manage or delete cookies directly in your browser:
- Microsoft Edge — Settings › Cookies and site permissions › Manage and delete cookies and site data
- Google Chrome — Settings › Privacy and security › Third-party cookies
- Mozilla Firefox — Settings › Privacy & Security › Cookies and Site Data
- Apple Safari — Settings › Privacy › Manage Website Data
Blocking all cookies in your browser will not break this website, though the consent banner may reappear on each visit because the record of your choice cannot be stored.
6. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
This website does not load optional cookies unless you actively consent, so a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal will not change what is loaded before you choose. Where a recognised opt-out preference signal is present, we treat it as a decision to decline optional cookies.
7. Changes
If we add or remove a cookie we will update the table above and the date at the top of this page. Where a new optional cookie is introduced, your prior consent is reset and you will be asked again.
